Soaring off of the edge of Mt. Helix, not only a place to live but a place to absorb the expanse of the Pacific and southern California from an uninterrupted perch. Two wings, one containing living the other containing bedrooms; connect in a wedge to embrace the infinity pool. Functioning both from asthetics and practicality to elegant effect. Large openings spanning the pool erase the lines between structure, water, ocean and horizon.

Unique ocean front home with uninterrupted views of the Pacific, PB Pier and La Jolla. 14’ high corner sliding door hides to expose the living area to the expansive beach. Double hyperbolic titanium roof strikes the beach posing a match for the incoming surf becoming the unifying element which takes the urban block and turns it into a sculpture of water and wind. Blue structural glass system anchors the roof and encapsulates a twisting stair up to the third floor.
